LABpen® MED is a portable, hand-held, battery-operated laser device for laser therapy and laser acupuncture.
Laser therapy is eminently suitable for a great many applications. These include the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system (e.g. chronic joint pain), dermatology (e.g. treatment of chronic wounds) and much more. The LABpen® MED group of medical products can also be used to stimulate the traditional acupuncture points, e.g. for bronchial asthma in children.
Irradiation with laser light leads to an analgesic effect (pain reduction), an anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effect as well as a biostimulatory effect (stimulation of tissue metabolism).
